2nd Floor is a party anthem and a Zurich anthem. From a young age, Yungdrizzz has called Zurich “Zurigo”, out of his deep appreciation for Italy and the Italian side of Switzerland. It became his own way of representing the city and its culture. The song looks back on his past life: countless parties, deep involvement in nightlife, and being around narcotics without ever paying for them. But underneath is a much bigger message: elevation. Whatever situation you come from and whatever stage of life you are in, you can always move up, from the first floor to the second. You can level up. It takes the energy of Zurich’s nightlife, his own experience and a mentality of constantly moving forward, and turns them into a true European rap song.
